RAND Corporation, a nonprofit research institution, is conducting a small pilot study to gather information about how individuals view breast cancer. The goal of the study is to understand the experiences, attitudes and beliefs about breast cancer among individuals with the disease.

The researchers conducting this pilot study plan to use the information gathered to create a larger study to examine the relationship between a person’s view of breast cancer and outcomes, such as treatment adherence, coping strategies, depression and functional activity.

Participation and Recruitment

Researchers are seeking 100 participants who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Participants must be age 18 or older.
